Is it safe to travel to Africa?

Travel safety in Africa varies by country and region, and while some areas may present challenges, many popular tourist destinations in Africa are generally considered safe. As part of enhancing security to our clients, we ensure that only safer countries are included in our destinations but the fact is that no country in the world can claim to be 100% safe, and so we advice our visitors that they should take the same precautions as they would normally take in any other destination worldwide. It is crucial to research and stay informed about your specific destination, follow travel advisories, seek local advice, secure your belongings, be aware of health risks, use reliable transportation, stay vigilant, and purchase travel insurance. Stay informed and take necessary precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.

What happens if there is a medical emergency on a safari?

In the event of a medical emergency on a safari, our drive/guides and lodges are typically prepared to provide initial first aid and basic medical assistance. If needed, arrangements for evacuation to a nearby medical facility or a major city with better healthcare resources can be made.
