Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up and transferred by road to Masai Mara National Reserve where you will begin your 6 days Kenya wildlife safari. We ascend the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the Rift Valley view point for panoramic views and photography. After which we drive to Masai Mara arriving in good time for lunch. After lunch you will then proceed for an evening game drive. Thereafter return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast at the lodge then proceed with picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Spend the day in Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will high chances of spotting the Big Five. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have an early morning and late afternoon game drives. Return to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Did you know that over 450 species of animals have been recorded at the Masai Mara? Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wild life to be found in Kenya.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Naivasha

Early morning breakfast followed by game drive en route to Lake Naivasha, Lake Naivasha is beautiful shallow freshwater lake is fringed by thick papyrus reeds and draw great array of bird life to its shoreline. You will arrive in Naivasha in good time for lunch. After lunch you will take a boat ride to Crescent Island game sanctuary. This is a private Wildlife Sanctuary on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha. The island is a submerged rim of a volcanic crater and here, you will walk among the yellow barked “fever trees” with the possibility of seeing various animals such as giraffe, zebra, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, waterbuck, eland, and a great many bird species including fish eagles. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

You will wake up for a delicious breakfast followed by road transfer to Amboseli National park arriving in good time for a sumptuous lunch. After lunch you will head for an evening game drive within the park. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border and is often referred to as “The home of Elephants” since some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. There are also vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos and many species of plain game. The park lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. The mountain offers scenic backgrounds for photography.

Amboseli National Park

Today after your breakfast you will head for a full day game drive. At midday you will have a stop-over for lunch and refreshment before continuing with the game drive across the diverse plains in search of more animals. You will later be driven to your lodge for a well-deserved dinner and overnight.

Amboseli National Park – Nairobi

After your delicious breakfast, you will be transferred by road back to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be transferred to the airport for your next African holiday destination. This marks the end of your 6 days Kenya wildlife safari with Kikwetu Cultural Adventures
